
Testing
Your virtual package is built using Blackbaud's fundraising Site Builder, developed to provide a robust fundraising solution connected to JustGiving. Our development practices mean that as part of the Site Builder engineering process, we test from the beginning of product development.
As part of your own internal QA process we provide some recommended top tips to ensure you are happy with the content on your site and how it appears on different devices.
Mobile
It's important to remember that a high percentage of traffic visiting your site will arrive on a mobile device. Make sure you check the website on your own mobile phone. Are you happy with the images that you have provided? Do they look as you expected on the website?
Desktop
Don't forget to also check the site on your laptop or computer. How does the site look on a bigger screen, does it look as you expected?
Create a fundraising page
As part of your testing, creating a fundraising page and understand the user flow. Create your fundraising page and familiarise yourself with the controls.
Make sure you try to change the fundraising story, upload your own photo and change your fundraising target and fitness goal.
Fitness
If your site has fitness included, connect your fundraising page to Strava, or log a manual fitness activity to see how it appears on your fundraising page.
Content
Make sure you review each page and it's content and check for any corrections you may not have picked up during content creation.
Feedback
As part of project delivery, you have the opportunity to provide 1 round of feedback in a single collated document. This can either be in Word or Excel and provide clear examples of where any change needs to be made.
