Virtual Packages Upgraded Emails
As part of your multipage site, a tailored virtual event version of the JustGiving Fundraiser Lifecycle will be configured. You can choose to upgrade your email journey to include custom event and charity content in pre-defined sections of the emails.
There are two version of the upgraded email journey to choose from:
- fitness
- non-fitness
Please contact your Account Manager if you would like to upgrade your email journey.
The fitness journey
The fitness journey includes 9 emails to support your fundraisers throughout your fitness event. It is important to ensure that you provide an event start and end date so that your fundraisers receive the information relevant to them.

Page created
Email is automatically triggered when a fundraiser creates their fundraising page for your event.

1 day after page created
Your fundraisers will receive this email to help them customise their page and make it their own.

4 days after page created
4 days after their page is created, we will provide your fundraisers with easy and effective hints to help them share their page.

Start of Event
All fundraisers receive this email on the start date of your challenge to remind them to get moving and post an update on their page!

Half Way
This email will be sent half way through the event and contains your organisation's cause story or testimonial to help your fundraisers feel more connected to your mission.

End of Event
On the final day of your event, an email will go out with a prewritten message to encourage your fundraisers to share their page one last time.

First Donation
We'll recognise fundraising success by sending your fundraisers a real-time email when they receive their first donation.

50% of fundraising target
This email will automatically send when your fundraisers reach 50% of their target, encouraging them to share their achievement online with a prewritten message.

100% of fundraising target
When your fundraisers reach their fundraising target, we'll immediately let them know and celebrate their success with a congratulatory email.
The alternative (non-fitness) journey
The non-fitness journey includes 9 emails designed to support a wider range of campaign types, from a bake-off to a girl's night in.

Email is automatically triggered when a fundraiser creates their fundraising page for your event.

1 day after page created, hasn't updated story
Using our unique behavioural triggers, we'll send your fundraisers an email to help them customise their fundraising page story if they haven't already done so.

1 day after page created, has updated story
If your fundraisers have customised their fundraising page story, we'll send them an email to thank them for making their page their own and help them post an update.

4 days after page created
This email will contains your organisation's cause story or testimonial to help your fundraisers feel more connected to your mission.

7 days after page created
7 days after their page is created, we will provide your fundraisers with easy and effective hints to help them share their page.

14 days after page created
Fundraisers receive an email 14 days after their page is created with shopping list items provided by your organisation, helping them understand how their fundraising is making a difference.

First Donation
We'll recognise fundraising success by sending your fundraisers a real-time email when they receive their first donation.

- 1 x link to Facebook group (recommended) or Facebook page
For non fitness events we require:

Two Charity Statements
Charity statements personalise the content related to your organisation.
Examples
Whoever you have been running for, and however you have completed your marathon, thank you for going the distance. The money you have raised will help {{ charity.name }} improve the lives of cancer patients not just at our hospitals but around the world.

Shopping list items
Please provide 3 shopping list items of how the funds raised could be used by your organisation.
Example:
£27 can provide a health consultation to a stroke survivor

Cause story/testimonial
Please provide a short story about someone or something your organisation has supported.
Example:
The funds you raise will help people like Emma. Emma was painting with her 2 daughters in the garden when a sudden numbness in her left arm had her dialling emergency. At just 37 years old, she was having a stroke. After several days in hospital, Emma was able to go home to her family but it wasn’t over yet – 1 in 5 stroke survivors experience another stroke within 5 years. With the help of the health care team at CHARITYXYZ, Emma was able to identify the underlying cause of her stroke and take steps to reduce the risk of another. It’s been 3 years since her first and only stroke.
